Have you seen Vi yet? Would love to see it, but am in the U.S. so it will take some doing lol. But I agree Gustaf always chooses good movies.
shareIt's quite cleverly filmed but the small budget is reflected in the near total lack of any external footage and the lack of crowds and other staff at the school. As such it almost becomes just a filmed three-hander play.🐭
sharePersonally I felt like the lack of external shots and other cast members added to the sense of being trapped in the relationship. Many victims speak of feeling alone and in prison. I think the "low" budget worked for that.
Censorship is advertising paid by the government.
Good point about feeling trapped.
Also the small cast and basing the plot on dialogue (which I think was very well written) would make for a powerful translation to a stage performance
