Simon - obivious spoiliers

Maybe a tit in social circles but was an outstanding soldier and leader, fearless and very brave. It's wrong to finish this series with him breaking down and leaving him as a crackpot mental casualty holdup in a cave talking to Wilson.

It needs a one off episode to resolve this story arc and give him back his honour. Very sad to see when he peered through the grass and waved goodbye to the Chinook carrying the remainder of Bluestone 42 away.

Give him back his dignity.

I didn't like that all and really poor way to end a top little series

They did a christmas special for series 2, hopefully we'll get another one for this series.

Definitely need a Christmas special, where they go and bring him back.

For all it wasn't a satisfying ending for the viewer, it was a perfect ending for Simon's character. He was basically socially awkward but all through the series he was displaying signs of PTSD. In an odd way it's a nod to the service men and women who have come back from war with invisible scars.
