Can someone explain why the 'lady silence' had to leave the tribe and where did she go?

My best guess is that she left to find a new Tuunbaq, because she knew that Royal Naval expedition to the Arctic won't be the last.

And why Captain Crozier didn't want to go back to the civilization?

Maybe he realized that if he goes back then the Royal Navy will send him to another expedition.
