Do you think Crozier's fate in the show will follow the novel faithfully with him as sole survivor, stopping the Tuunbaq by becoming an Esquimeaux Shaman and the lover of Lady Silence? Or do you think a younger more man-of-action character will replace him? The actor looks quite sedentary and senior. Will audiences accept him doing these things?

Sophia , Franklin's young daughter , had serious feelings for Crozier. Her parents were against a marriage but Sophia herself decide not to marry him only because she didn't want a husband that spent most of his life away exploring .
On board the Erebus Crozier is drinking alot and is depressed because the mission has been a failure..I think he secretly hoped the expedition ( his last one) would be a success and that on his return Sophia would have second thoughts and marry him. He is a broken soul at this point ...His dreams to come back in triumph and marry Sophia have vanished.
It looks like he is going to try and get back on track in episode 6 ...In episode 5 "Lady Silence " asked Crozier why he wanted to die.?
Interesting. It has been a couple of years since I read it. BTW, How have you been able to watch Episodes 4 and 5 already? Only 1-3 are available to me on DirecTV.

I haven't read the book but
Crozier has a flashback between the two which explains in detail their relationship.
I went to watch episode 3 on my favourite movie and series free online link (I have made no account ,though) and to my surprise I saw episodes 4 and 5 were already available..😎

"I don't see the point in waiting" was Ally's reply to Tyler in "Remember Me" (2010)..she asked to have her dessert first and then the main course ..
In some situations I agree with Ally .. So thanks for letting the cat out of the bag😎 .. it's nice to know that the two end up together ..they are my two favourite characters followed by James.

...actually my fault I misinterpreted his "in the end".
Normally , I prefer by far sad /tragic endings but for some reason I really hoped that the two would finish up together happily.
