One of best art or artist-related films I've ever seen
There could have been more dresses/runways, more Victoire, and more girl-on-girl making out for my taste.
But otherwise, especially if one is interested in fashion or art, a fantastic film.
The first half pf the film depicting his rise to success was entertaining but the last hour or so dwelled too lengthily on his depression, drug addiction and debauchery. Despite his flaws he was still talented and successful at this time of his life. Yet we only see him at his weakest, and sometimes least likeable, even during the showing of his hugely successful baroque collection. I think the story could have been a little more balanced. Nonetheless an honest if critical examination of his life.
