I just saw it and thought Gaspard Ulliel was spellbinding as YSL. Whoever wrote

"SAINT LAURENT: if Scorsese adapted Proust, it would be like this. A tremendously innovative, elegant biopic that shows & doesn't tell."

made a profoundly genius comment on this film.
