Remind anyone of Chicago?

I can't really place what it is, but it felt like the same style as Chicago. I didn't think it was tll bad.

Both movies are about fame whores riding their crimes to stardom ("Chicago" in the roaring 20's---"B&C" in the depression era 30's). Theme's the same.

I got the same impression with the music and the media.
