Bonnie smoking

Bonnie Parker was a heavy smoker, but Grainger did a terrible job with her cigarettes. An actor must either learn to smoke well or not do it at all, and if the character was a smoker, the director must portray that accurately. No bad fake smoking.

Bonnie Parker was not a smoker at all. She used the cigar once in the gag photo. When she found out the media portrayed her as a cigar smoker, she fiercely denied it.

It's true that Bonnie didn't smoke cigars and regretted that pic and hated being dubbed a "cigar-smoking moll" in the press, but she was an avid smoker of cigarettes. Camel was her preferred brand. In fact, a pack was found on her person when she was killed:

Is that a photo of her in the car after she was shot up? Morbid!

I also have read that she regretted the cigar picture but was indeed a chain smoker of cigarettes

Yep. I got it at the Bonnie & Clyde Texas Hideout website:

You should check it out. Loads of pix and newspaper clippings. Some of them quite rare.
