Old-fashioned entertainment (and that's a compliment!)

This movie's goal is to entertain. Not to deliver some kind of message. Not to prove how enlightened it is. Not to sneak in political snark.

Just to entertain.

Like the old-time madcap comedies.

That's why this film works so well. If Hollywood spent more time thinking about how to make entertaining movies (of all genres) and less about all the other crap, they'd be making money and we'd be going to the movies more often. Oh, well.

But this one was lots of fun!
