This movie made no sense

I know better than to analyze a lifetime movie, but here are the flaws I noticed while watching:

Once the husband knew the friend had evidence, he should have tried harder to get it before abducting her. Once he did that, his plan was over, and he had to kill her because she knew too much.

Once she went missing, the wife and her fiancé would have gone to the cops because they were in too deep, and the husband was already a kidnapper and maybe a killer.

These theories were moot once he revealed that he was going to kill her in the ski loft. If everybody died, he could have had the cash and maybe a chance to get away with it.

The end was the clincher when she offered her hand, and he let himself fall?????

I guess they wanted some reason to kill the movie in under 2 hours at that point

The daughter not recognizing him at the ski lodge made no sense. Really? She was 7 not a baby. This story has been done so many times, this writer got sloppy.

It's always amazing the kinds of technology these guys have access to. He was able to clone her phone that easy? he had a magnetic tracker/voice recorder that was obviously run by solar since it lasted so long haha. Nothing scarier than a tech savvy psychopath

He bugs her pocket book and she doesn't notice it? Nor the cameras on the bookshelves in her home?

Most older movies in some way punish wrong-doing heros/protagonists. Here she gets away with insurance fraud.

So bad it almost isn't worth dignifying with criticism.

yeah, very unsafe that the tram opens so easily over the mountains too

I still don't get why she didn't just divorce him.

It weakens us to not give our enemies the respect they deserve...
