Why is her hair so large and obnoxious? Even Kathy Bates hair was awful. Wigs the whole movie through?

Maybe it was a play on Suze Orman hair? I thought she looked great though.

Michelle Darnell's signature coif looked to me like a puffed up version of Kris Jenner's haircut.

It totally reminded me of the 80's puffy hair. As a matter of fact the whole movie had an 80's can-do attitude about it.
