Ending was really, really bad.

Not going to spoil it for anyone but the movie itself wasn't that bad. It's the kind of movie that you'd watch on a lazy sunday afternoon. You're not expecting a masterpiece but not something that's really bad either and this fit that bill. I liked certain aspects of the story and the special effects weren't that bad for a lower budget movie, the acting was competent but I think with a better writer and possibly director this could have been a really good movie.

Initially I had decided to give it a "5" but then the ending hit and it just pissed me off with how generic and lazy it was.

Yes I agree also. I didnt really make out what the movie was about. What happened to the guy who was forced to hang himself? I know the rapist got punished but no one else really does.

Well in a nutshell:

Yes but the actual ending kind of makes the entire process a waste of time. Had it just ended with the car crash, it'd have been a better movie.

The ending was great until we find out who's driving the ambulance than its same old story

The problem is what was the deal with Victoria, the blonde hot chick that dies first? We never get to know why she was there, what her sin was and what the choice for her was. All we see is some junkie in batroom stall shooting up, she takes the syringe and is dragged away.

Also the whole story in inconsistent. Most protagonists are given a choice, do X and go to Hell, do Y and don't. Victoria didn't and she didn't even sin. Rapist had no choice either, he was jsut killed. Paedophile had a choice of sorts and doomed himself by his act.

Maybe her sin was being a junkie and she made the wrong choice by taking the syringe to shoot up.

This movie was terrible.

What kind of sin is that? At best you could file it under gluttony, if you really stretch things.

But yes, movie was terrible. Too bad because it had potential to be decent.

He didn't hang himself. He asked god to forgive him, so the bad things disappeared and then he was booted back out to the world.

If he'd gone through with the hanging instead of asking god to forgive him presumably suicide would have counted against him as a sin and down to hell he'd go. That's why the bad things were trying to get him to kill himself.

Answer to why he got out the bible says if you repent even on your death bed you will be forgiven. So the guy who killed his daughter was forgiven.

Yeah you are right!They just messed up the whole movie with that last part.Can Hollywood do decent movies that make sense these days?

The ending was fine. The ending of Cube was really, really bad.

and don't forget the middle and the beginning too. those were just as bad
