Stubble and hairstyles

The period atmosphere is usually very accurate in 'Endeavour'.

However, in almost every episode they seem to have one or two men with facial stubble, eg in 'Lazaretto' the hospital porter, radio DJ and the gangster all had facial stubble. This would only have been worn by men in the sixties who were down and outs or vagrants.

Also, Morse's hair is way too long for a police officer in the sixties. It's well over his collar and even in the seventies would have been a bit unlikely.
