Late Finisher - strange things:

I just finished the finale, and have two strange observations, or questions. I've looked for these throughout the posts to date - sorry if I missed.

(1) In the picture Perception test, Giles is seen gesturing and showing the picture frames to Cris. Yet at that point in the episode we all thought he had been killed. The killer announced his death prior to the puzzles, and Giles did not reveal that he had escaped until the last puzzle when Kam saw him in the attic. Seems like an editing goof.

(2) Isn't it funny that Kam, the lawyer in the group, was the one who couldn't read the contract correctly and missed the info in the fine print? Give you real confidence in our Homeland Security team doesn't it.

for (1) its too long ago to remember sorry

as for (2) it was discussed here very well. Some say because he was a lawyer he thought to much into it and others say because it was written so "normal" people could understand it, it wasn't a "foolprof" contract and would have been torn apart in court this way.
Kam hinted something in a podcast after the final had aired that there were some "legal issues" in that contract and he was asked by the producing company not to talk about those details.

(2) Thanks, good points. I did get to look into this a bit more and see the focus on the wording "not responsible for'. Kam interpreted this in the legal sense, meaning Giles was free from liability. That would be the correct legal interpretation. I'm thinking he was more correct than the producers on this one. It was sloppy wording, and in effect gave Giles the clearance to commit murder. I thought Kam was quite obnoxious in many episodes, but right in this last one.

As for some of the other discussion about Kam not realizing Cris was the killer at the end, I could see how anyone could be stunned and unsure. They were the only two left, but there had been some real twists in the game, like Giles being pulled in as a victim, the double murder, etc, so indeed there could have been a change in the rules or lies coming in at the very end. Giles could have been the killer, a maid, etc.
