What's with the delay of Season 2?

What's with the really long hiatus? The last episode aired in Summer 2013; now it's already Fall 2015 with no promotion of a second season.

Anyone know why it's been such a long stretch? I think I've seen signs that they were auditioning for a second season earlier this fall, but not sure what's come of it.

ABC doesn't have the show's special webpage anymore and the show's Facebook page is eerily silent. The page's last post was back in 2013, and there are still comments asking when the 2nd season is coming?

Any other TV series that have had a hiatus of over 2 years?

I've been craving for Whodunnit? to come back, but Quantico has done a great job of filling that craving for now.
