The season 2 theme by Iris Dement was amazing and perfect for the show, but the season 3 theme sounds like a '70s sitcom.
EDIT: I see that the theme is different each episode. So far with three episodes (two themes)... both bad, imo. A Google search also revealed the episode 2 theme actually *was* an '80s sitcom theme... bizarre.
I agree the Iris Dement song was so perfect. The 3rd episode was another weird choice.
shareWell the episode two theme song was probably because of Mark Linn-Baker. He was in that 80's sitcom. So there is a connection with what's happening in the episode.
I don't mind the different theme songs every episode. But they don't really fit the visuals very well.

Yeah, it was the Perfect Strangers theme....which has a connection in the show.
So, it made perfect sense.
I forgot a lot from the previous two seasons, so after watching the Mark Linn Baker episode, I decided to re-watch the whole show before continuing any further. And I noticed that Perfect Strangers were occasionally mentioned throughout the first two seasons. So, Mark suddenly appearing in the show makes much more sense now.
