I wonder how much higher the rating will go after season 3.

I'm trying to remember what the IMDb rating was at for season 1. I think it was a 7.7. After season 2 it has increased to an 8.0. So I'm curious if we will see a further rise with season 3. Maybe if we're lucky, we'll see it go to 8.2.

TV Shows I've watched: http://www.imdb.com/list/ls072583934/. Any suggestions?

It should have 8.5 at least

What didn't you think of the first season? I've gotten through the first 4 or 5 episodes, and I hate it. So much. My question is, does it get better? Did you enjoy the first few episodes?

As season 1 played live, I hated it. But not in how you hate a show you don't like. I hated it because of how it made me feel so... miserable. Some things were also boring or hard to swallow (Guilty Remnant). I thought for sure I would give up on it after episode 5. Then 6 hit. I gave it another shot. Got to the end of season 1 and still thought I hated it. But I was compelled to hate watch it. It was an odd combination. Then season 2 starts with the oddest WTF moment ever. And a new intro song that was horrible... at first. By the end of season 2, I wanted to go give them all the emmys and oscars. Golden Globes?... sure them too. So I thought back to when I hated it. I realized that it wasn't due to the show, per se, but due to the emotional black hole the show so painstakingly creates. It is striving to create a bleak and depressive atmosphere that early on in the series life has a chance of alienating viewers. But the payoffs in the end of season 1 and all of season 2 are amazing. It's kind of like liking a girl who it takes a long time to get anywhere with. But when you finally do get close to her, it ends up being the best time of your life.

I just watched Episode 1/Season 3, and changed my rating to 10... It was that good. Devastatingly beautiful, haunting, thought-provoking. Masterful.

I guess you could say it is going out with a bang.
