What a ridiculous piece of crap
Every episode was the same - the blind father tries to do something he shouldn't (like drive a car, ride a bicycle, fly a plane, etc.) with that stupid, goofy grin on his face.
No wonder it was cancelled.

Very true...OR, maybe since it is told from the boys perspective. Only if in the first episode and at times in others it stated, by the narration, that the dad was his hero and it seemed he could do anything.
shareLol so true
sharesjbradford (Mon Jun 2 2014 18:03:25)It was canceled because NBC has been making a lot of stupid choices even since Friends (1994) went off the air. This show was pulling in the ratings and was even predicted to be renewed because of how well it was doing. But instead, NBC canceled this show and renewed About a Boy (2014) instead (which then tanked in the ratings the very next season). Coincidentally enough, the show that tanked the next season was the lead-in show for Fisher. My theory is that people just kept the TV on to wait for Fisher, which is why Boy did well the first season but then tanked the second season.
No wonder it was cancelled.
