Definitely worth a watch.

I highly enjoyed this and the scenery. It kept my attention all the way through and had some great performances, especially from the woman with the ailing mother.

Some of the "native" acting was a little over the top and on the nose and its budget showed in places, but those are minor complaints for such a sprawling and compassionate story. The soundtrack was great too, reminded me of the "Babel" soundtrack by Gustavo Santaolalla.

8/10 from me.

The whole thing reminded me of Babel. A good movie, but it feels like it should have shown up in the early 2000s. Maybe it took them a while to get funding.
