why did they replace the original Mei Chen actress, and got a woman who is not remotely chinese looking actress. horrible, this is why i dont watch this show.

Yeap, thats the reason, it sucks anyways. Doesn't matter if the pilot was made months ago or not, get a the right ethnicity for the character, you never see a chinese person playing a person named Joe Smith.
shareQuality of the show aside (it's ok, but has major issues that if a second season is made need to be addressed asap) you could take 5 minutes to look up the actresses and realize first off neither was born in China, the current actress is partially of Chinese decent; the first may look more the part, may even be 100% Chinese (doubtful, but possible), but you act like the second actress has no Asian look to her, when in fact she does appear and is racially (to some extent) Chinese.
If you don't like the show that's OK, but don't use some asinine excuse over the change of an actress based on race/ethnicity. If you got to the point where the replaced Mei was used you've already watched a decent chunk of the season, if not rode it out to the season finale, which means you have some interest or are a masochist who enjoys watching shows they think suck.
