I loved the classical feel of this film.
The aesthetics of YOUNG ONES were so well done. For me, it was a top-notch film, from the acting to the sci-fi use of the BigDog. Good stuff.

shareI agree. At first I thought Paltrow was paying homage to the movies of the 70's, because that's how it felt to me. But then I read that it was more of a Futuristic Western mash. Which I loved. But the story was severely lacking. Everything else - the setting, the cinematography, the acting - was spot on. Such a shame.
We're running around like we don't care
It's gonna leave its mark somewhere.

If you don't mind only watching it once, sure! It really is that kind of movie for me.
That's the thing about life...nobody gets out alive.
