Sir Lancelot
The Sir Lancelot character appeared very forced. Didn't care for him at all.

the actor is real cute though :)
shareHe wasn't as charming as Cecil or as funny as the Pharoh. He was kind of awkward and a forced villain you could see coming a mild away.
shareHe sure is dashing.
shareI honestly don't see him as a villain which I think is why some people disliked his presence. He was annoying, definitely, but he was more of a confused out of time/touch hero. He thought he was right for the greater good of his country, he didn't understand what Larry was trying to do until he had to see it for himself.
Unfortunately, he was very annoying that I was like "dude, stop trying to be a hero for a place that doesn't even exist and give them the freaking tablet Ahkmenrah is decaying!" But I don't necessarily see him as being forced because I don't see him as the villain. But that's just me.
Weren't the exhibits all out of time characters? He had also been woken up for the first time, so was understandably confused. Did you really think stop trying to be a hero in a fantasy film of this sort?
Yeah, Lancelot meant well but, he was deluded until he understood why everyone needed the tablet.
shareI was just confused that if Lancelot was a museum exhibit whydid he have a human face underneath his armor? I'm pretty sure the actual museum exhibit would have just had a faceless dummy underneath the knight armor instead of a long-haired blue-eyed guy
shareAre you kidding me? I love the way his character was introduced! it was so bad-ass!!! It was epic.
You thought it was me gnawing on the passengers? nah, I'm a vegetarian.
Perhaps the worst part of Sir Lancelot is the very fact him being in a museum in the first place- he is a fictional character, not a historical one.
shareSince when is it that museums must house only historical figures? I believe there are many mythological, and fantasy figurines in most, if not all museums. Museums house art and yes, history, but in case you don't know this - legend and folklore are a key part of history.

I agree! I thought he was great. I mean these movies are meant to be campy and fun (which I felt he fit into nicely) they aren't part of a Tolkien trilogy. Get a grip people!
