What was up with the license plates?
No state or anything on anyone of them... I can't recall ever seeing that before.

Usually movies and shows do this when they don't want the story to be set in any particular region.
shareInteresting. I still can't say I've ever seen it before though and I've seen ALOT of movies.... ALOT.

You'd need to pay attention to the rest of my sentence for that to make sense.

when they don't want the story to be set in any particular regionthey usually try to conceal the license plates, whether by having nondescript plates like this movie did or by simply never letting the viewer have a close enough view of the plates. share

Yea....glad I'm not the only one to think it was weird.
I understand hiding a plate by simply NOT showing it... but they were literally completely fake plates with nothing but numbers on them....just plain weird. It did take me out of the movie because it was just so strange.

License plates affected you that much? That's kind of sad.
shareI thought this was set in a particular region. Wasn't Hazel poring over a New Mexico map before leaving her mother in the van?
