1/10. Here's why / Esta es la razón:
Since they have the same script writer and some of the same producers, I'm not surprised that HITMAN and HITMAN: AGENT 47 make the same mistake: They go too far in making the protagonist cold that he doesn't generate any interest. I would've rather seen a sequel with a different character (I'm guessing AGENT 94?). Unlike its predecessor, the makers of this reboot actually decided what to do with the clones subplot. Unfortunately, it focuses so much on KATIA VAN DEES (not the love interest, as one might assume) that it doesn't feel like the story being told is the title character's. Even the antagonist JOHN SMITH gets more screentime during the 1st half. Rupert Friend's performance is bad, and I'm not just comparing him to Timothy Olyphant's serviceable performance. When I saw the original, I thought that the cartoonish action sequences matched the over-the-top concepts, but they didn't match the tone. This one has the same tone and a more realistic approach, which should be an improvement. It's not. It made me realize that, when a movie takes itself more seriously than it should (like these 2 do), any ridiculous element is a relief.

Ya que tienen el mismo guionista y algunos de los mismos productores, no me sorprende que HITMAN: AGENTE 47 y HITMAN: AGENTE 47 2015 cometan el mismo error: van demasiado lejos en hacer al protagonista frío que no genera ningún interés. Hubiera preferido ver una secuela con un personaje distinto (¿sería el AGENTE 94?). A diferencia de su predecesor, los realizadores de este reinicio sí decidieron qué hacer con la sub-trama de los clones. Desafortunadamente, se enfoca demasiado en KATIA VAN DEES (no el posible amor, como uno asumiría) que no se siente como que la historia que se cuenta es del personaje titular. Hasta el antagonista JOHN SMITH tiene más tiempo en pantalla durante la 1ra mitad. La actuación de Rupert Friend es mala y no solo estoy comparándola con la actuación pasable de Timothy Olyphant. Cuando ví la original, pensé que las secuencias de acción caricaturescas encajaban con los conceptos exagerados, pero no encajaban con el tono. Esta tiene el mismo tono y un enfoque más realista, lo que debería ser una mejora. No lo es. Me hizo darme cuenta que, cuando una película se toma más en serio de lo que debería (como estas 2 lo hacen), cualquier elemento ridículo es un alivio.
