The acting is superb. Thoughts??
I thought everyone did a great job. The movie features some of the best acting I've in a Bollywood movie in a long time.
shareI would concur with your comment. I don't generally watch or enjoy Indian films but this one was quite good and the acting was a big plus. Naseeruddin Shah is a very good actor, but for me Arshad Warsi (who I'm seeing for the first time) showed superb comic timing and matched Shah scene for scene. Madhuri and the other female lead were ok - the other girl was very pleasing to the eye, but as is often the case with female characters in Indian films, there was a little too much of the melodramatic in their dialogue delivery which results in one-dimensional characterisation.
On the whole I'm glad I saw this film. My wife, who is an Indian film fan, loved it but also said its quite different from the run of the mill films one sees.
