A query about this one: (contains spoilers):

What was the intention of Steve Pemberton's character throwing himself down the stairs? Was it so that he would have a minor injury (twisted ankle etc) so that he didn't have to go on holiday and thus leave his sex slave unattended?

Just watched this. Yes, I'd guess that was his intention. He had just asked whether she'd taken care of the holiday insurance before taking his tumble...
