I loved the character of Nathan, in the movie and the books. He is such a professional yet understanding, and compassionate. He never passes judgement on Will. I feel that he is the rock that gets Lou thru.

I recommend the sequel to this book. Nathan never forgets Lou. It is interesting.

Actually the sequel ( book) has been published titled 'after you'. You can google it

Do they end up together in the sequel? I was kind of hoping that was where this movie was going to go in the end. Was kind of disappointed they didn't show him saying goodbye considering he spent the past 2 years caring for him.
