The alright rating for this movie deserves.

Same thing I thought when I saw the score.

Fundamentals of caring was so much better if you want a disabled story.

7.5 is no way an average rating for a movie.

Starting from one of the most annoying protagonists I've seen in years, ending with an absolutely childish conclusion. I'm extremely surprised with such a high rating for this one, maybe it has something to do with Clarke and Claflin star power.

Maybe people actually liked it.

it's a great movie

reply

It's meh. Deserves a 5 at best.

Let's be honest, films like these always get higher ratings than they deserve. But that's fair enough, other people's opinions.

reply

It's a solid film, a 6 in my book, but people seem to go mad over movies like these

reply

I think a score in the 6 range would have been fair compared to other scores on here.. it wasn't a bad film, it just wasn't the best of its type.. As I've said on another thread, I think Untouchable is better but then it does get a much higher score.. I don't know what all the hype is about this movie, I guess people feel that it's a 'worthy' film because of its storyline and message.

reply

It is an above average movie for the genre - I have seen a lot worse and am in no way surprised at 7.5 - it deserves it. And it just goes to show you the greater part of the moviegoer population liked it too.
