Bitter angry old man lives an unhappy life, hurts those around him, then dies? And we needed over 2 hours for this?
Unless you like scenes that tirelessly drag on forever and a movie with nothing interesting, nothing to really learn or gain from it and no payoff, I'd avoid. 4/10 for a couple of the acting performances and I feel like that's being generous.

shareIt was a mixed bag - I cringed every moment Mykelti Williamson was on screen - but I do think this is one of Washington's best performances, and there is fine work by Viola Davis and Jovan Adepo. It's not very cinematic, like many play adaptations, and is overlong, but it's solid and reasonably engrossing. 6/10
