Another white guilt film ?

Is that what you're calling it, or have you seen it? Cause the story is more about how the institution of racism has ruined a promising life and made him bitter and jaded.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/IAkFp11Hwq4

"the story is more about how the institution of racism has ruined a promising life and made him bitter and jaded."

I don't feel that way at all. His kids and especially his wife called him out numerous times of being ignorant. He thought he'd have a baseball career if he was white, but as his wife said, it was because he was 40 when he had that dream.

He also used the term "cracker" a few times. I'm not sure the way to fight racism is with racism.

He used the term cracker out of bitterness. Not saying he didn't hate white people, but it was because they got so many more opportunities than he did I would assume. And I think he could of had a baseball career but by the time baseball was letting blacks in, he was already too old.

It’s interesting that not only would you watch this movie, likely having a clear idea of its content, but that your political sensibilities would be offended enough to make a post of vague objection over themes that are more ambient than they are the crux of the film.

I think you missed the point of the whole film. Hop out of the trench friend. I promise, the world is an easier place to be in when your identity isn’t dominated by a political position.
