Where is his Oscar buzz? I thought he was fantastic. Obviously Denzel and Viola were incredible, but I thought Mykelti was just as good.

I was wondering the same thing? He was brilliant in this role. Wow! and the last scene was very powerful ... full on Waterworks was not expected!

I agree, pOeTiCdEsTiNy, he was amazing but like so many actors, overlooked. I think filmed plays belong on the small screen, but I really enjoyed this film because of the amazing acting.

no he was over rated and pretty painful everytime he came on screen.
