Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand----- The Big Chill.

I am really confused, were they attempting to re-make The Big Chill or did they literally just copy almost everything from it only to make a horrible, horrible film instead. And even reference Jeff Goldblum (ding ding) And the guy who committed suicides name is Alex----like the guy in the Big Chill who died was named Alex. Really thinking they wanted to make a modern day Big Chill and failed so epicly. I actually couldn't finish this film it was so incredibly bad.

When I read the description and the name, I knew it was going to be inspired by The Big Chill, and they did hammer that point home quite a bit.

But the movie was better than what I thought it would be. It did explore the idea of what if Alex didn't die and how do you deal with an attempted suicide. Sure, some things were telegraphed like people sleeping or at least fooling around with each other, but I ended up caring where the story went.
