Did anyone else notice the gratuitous amount of smoking in this movie? It just seemed weird and kind of out of place.
shareI noticed that as well. You don't see that in movies too much anymore, but I liked it and thought it brought a retro vibe.
Also, all the characters are hipster-ey as *beep* so of course they smoke.
Another rip off from that 80s flick.

I totally agree about the smoking being gratuitous. The worst was when Siri is doing yoga outside and glasses guy comes over and smokes right next to her. Just surprising that Siri also was with Ben who was a smoker. Why would a yoga girl date a smoker??
shareThe only I really noticed smoking was Josh who clearly had some Anxiety issues, so smoking for him made sense to me.
