hollywood should reinvent itself by investing in good small budget films

for a small budget movie it's quite good, rated 7.

That makes no sense. A Hollywood movie is a movie with a big budget, A-list actors, lots of money spent on advertising and promotions, a widespread theatrical release and so on. A small budget film that is independently produced could therefore not be a Hollywood movie, but that's a good thing and there are certainly plenty of good low-budget films. Also, I would urge you to not sabotage the ratings system by giving a higher rating to a movie simply because it had a low budget ;)

I agree totally, I also gave it a 7
And not because it was low budget, but because I liked it that much compared to the usual Hollywood crap.
I think people who give a low rating because of a low budget are the real problem.

I think this movie shows why small budgets do not work in film making, if the project is too ambitious for the available funds and the skills of its makers .

I don't care if a movie is 'good for its budget', I only care if it is good or not .

This one ran out of steam not long after the opening scenes; the cast wasn't good to begin with, not to mention the weak script, and eventually the limitations in money, talent and skills became apparent .

If you can't raise the money and get together the right people to do the job properly, you don't have what it takes to make a movie .

It is small budget and frankly looks it. The story was not too great but some of the special effects were good but Hollywood has nothing to worry about.

It's that man again!!
