Any Documentary shows around?

That go into more detail explain choices and such when creating Who? I loved this movie but there wasn't enough detail on why they did certain things.

I think many of the DVDs have quite in-depth documentaries that span across each era of the show. Would have to ask a Who expert which appears on what DVD though. If I find out i'll post here.

The Best thing to do is get yourself "the beginnings” boxset. It’s full of documentaries, commentaries and other bits and pieces that will go in depth and answer your questions. It has the first 3 stories ("An unearthly child", "The Daleks" and "edge of destruction") plus an abridged photo reconstruction of lost 4th story Marco polo AND the failed attempt at the first episode (wrongly called “the pilot”). The Episodes have Really good commentary track too.

Each story has it's own retrospective with interviews of people involved, there's a documentary on the creation of the daleks, another that deals with the creation of the show itself, a third that covers the BBC’s radio phonic workshop and a fourth that goes in depth about the tardis.

They are all about 45 minutes to an hour long, so they each go in depth on their subjects.
