In the last scene we're shown a photo that appears to be Avery Brooks as Hawk from Spenser: for Hire. Anyone know why?

Roman was the son, his story where his mother met his father the mobster. Roman was the son of the mobster . He wore a get up when out and about to help hide his id. When he reliazed that Anthony had taken the photoes to protect him is why they parted on good terms
