Both Yael Grobglas (America) and Michael Malarkey (Maxon) had major recurring roles on other CW shows after they starred in this pilot.

Yael got a role in Reign and Michael got a role in The Vampire Diaries.

I guess that confirms the rumours that the CW liked the pilot and the actors.
