One thing keeps nagging me

New viewer, been binging over the break and up to the middle of season 3 (which is a mess).

it's only been 97 years since the war. Yet all the customs, language, etc seem to indicate it's been much much longer. The strange creatures (sea worm) would also take hundreds of years to evolve that way, if not longer, even with the assistance of radiation.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the show, though it's starting to get thin. But the above would be more believable had it been a few hundred years at least. The only faction that immediately made sense was the one in the mountain.

I'm more bothered by the fact they were able to survive on a space station while continuously blasting people out the air lock. Soylent Green, anybody?

🤣🤣🤣
That made my day!...Hahahaha. ☺

It's called "floating".
That sounds better than "blasting out". ☺
As "put to sleep" sounds much better than "injecting a lethal dose".

Well, leastwise we survived the year 2022 (Soylent Green). 🍀

Science fiction. In the world of this show, radiation mutated those creatures, creating deer with two heads and the sea worm. Just accept that radiation in this show is different than radiation in real life.

Yes, the change and development in culture and the seemingly universal new language development seems a bit silly over just 100 years.

Agree.

did you watch the show til the end? it's explained how the language was born , the language existed even before the nuclear war started.
