At the end of season 4 who are your favorites and what are your thoughts?

As for me I actually thought the show was pretty good this season. I would have preferred a "human" enemy rather than the "elements" to do battle with yet a few strong performances made it very watchable. I especially liked the charged atmosphere and sense of urgency this season. There were no real boring episodes.
As for favorite characters at the end of 4 seasons:
1. Raven - Has been my favorite for a long time along with Bellamy. There is something really genuine about the actress which makes her character very likeable. I love the fact that she is super smart while not being an action girl. I hate it when they make female characters too perfect and Mary Sue like, just because they are afraid to show any form of weakness in women due to fear or criticism.
The fact that she is actually physically very vulnerable yet is easily such a strong female character. Shows that you do not have to always physically kick butt to be considered strong as a female. I know men get to be leaders and stronger characters while being VERY Non action. I am glad they are doing this for a girl. Even with regard to her brain it is not like she just cruises through. Many a times she is insecure and frustrated yet she somehow powers through making her very human and believable.
I really hope she gets paired up with someone as she has being a bit of a lone wolf for a long time. Also hop she is more receptive to people offering to help her out. I think she needs to realize that getting help from others do not make you weak makes you more real. Which she already is but there is always room for improvement.

2. Bellamy : The other person I have liked from the very beginning. I am glad that there is a strong male character in a show filled with strong women it adds diversity to the show. I have always liked his heart like Clark very correctly said. It makes him very believable and a great leader. I actually think he and Raven are for me the heart of the show.

3. Clark : I initially hated her. But she has recently started to grow on me. I think Bellamy and her mom should be there to keep her in check because at times her passion gets the better of her. Yet she is genuine and always trying to do the best thing even if it does not work out, just like Bellamy. This has made me like her more. I think the fact that her decisions are weighing on her makes her real for me.

Others are all pretty cool. But sorry guys I just hate Octavia. The actress is horribly one dimensional and overacts a lot. Most of the time it feels like she is over compensating and her character is also a bit cartoonish for me.

Almost forgot:

Loved Roan this season. So sad he died such a great actor.

Also Abby and Marcus are clearly number 4 and 5 on my list.

Bellamy seems ok , but is essentially a War Criminal and should still be executed.
