Does anyone hate-watch this?

I know I do. I just finished season 2 and I can't stand this show but I also cannot look away. Everything is made into a huge conflict all the time. Where do all of these people get the calories needed to be constantly arguing and engaging in combat? This is a legitimate question. People who by all accounts are not well fed and have very few basic necessities of life do not turn on each other and engage in constant incivility.

Doesn't this happen all the time, in the real world? Only all throughout history?

Can't say that I hate-watch it, but I definitely didn't enjoy this season as much as the two others, mostly thanks to the annoying plotline with the dead-eyed AI and her minions. As for conflict, well, it's a post-apocalyptic drama. It would be less realistic if everyone got along just fine all the time.

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I hear your point but it would be a better show if it was given room to breathe. Build up and then explode. It's always exploding with tension.

You're not going to like season 3 then. The pacing was way too fast.

That's exactly what they do and it happened throughout history. When they are struggling to survive, each of the 'clans' stick together for the most part, yes. But they stick together because they think there are other groups threatening their lives. They feel like they have to fight to keep what they have.

It's not like they are without food, they're not starving. Look at Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Food, water, shelter is number one, which is what they all have. Next is safety. If they perceive their environment unsafe they cannot survive healthily. It's basic history.

I do. 😂 This series doesn't say no to anything and I'm just curious what else will they put into the plot.

Season 3:

The AI/lala land was basically the Matrix with no Kung Fu or evil agents. I like the guest actress from Eureka, Erica Cera (Allie), but I would say that she was miscast in that role - not that I can imagine anyone that could have done more with it.

It seems like in every episode:
The main characters discover and/or do something horrific
They make a plan
The plan never ever remotely works and the ep ends tragically, usually with one or many characters crying and/or dead.

Almost all of the main characters have done things that we/I can't really forgive them for at this point.

The end of the season is basically satisfying but of course there's a discovery that everyone's gonna be dead in 6 mos. So no celebration, no rest, no happy time...

I love the premise of this show and the cast is great, but I don't see how I'll be looking this up on Amazon again next year unless the producers offer something resembling contrition and promise to tone it down a little.

Well I have definitely had more than a few issues with this show. I've talked about the first two years a lot already, so won't rehash that. Not the biggest fan of making your main heroes villains, but they managed to do that. Could have done without some of the never-ending grounder stuff, especially when the main grounder Lincoln was regulated to the sidelines. Felt a lot of the mainstay characters got regressed after having pretty strong 2nd seasons. Didn't think a year long viewing of Pike did anything for Bellamy's character. Just think that was a bad decision, especially after all the crap Clarke did last season. If you can't root for the so-called
heroes, who are you supposed to root for.

At some point I realized I was just gonna have to watch the show for what it was, even if I didn't agree with it or think it didn't make sense. In the end, I love this genre. There really isn't a lot of it on network television.

It's abit of a mad show. There's chaos and mayhem every episode (seemingly all within six months lol) and no room for breather episodes

I wouldn't say I 'hate' watch, but, before the episodes start I always think I'm not going to bother with it only to become totally addicted to it and need to see how it ends. It's one of those shows that, no matter how bad it is, it's addictive and you've got to watch it. And when the seasons end, I actually miss it hahaha

I hate watch a lot of shows lately. It´s something new to me.

It started with Arrow season 3... then The FLash and Legends of Tomorrow from episode 1. then the 100 starting mid Season 3.

Luckily I tried 1 episode of Supergirl and I couldn´t even hate watch it. Maybe I´m getting better.
