Sadly jumped the shark (or might soon)?

I get the feeling that the show is just barely going on. It isn't really bad yet or anything I don't think, but I get the impression that it is losing its touch slowly and slowly.

When Roscoe and Violet pretty much left the show it still hung on, but now it seems like there is little essence to how the show used to be in earlier seasons.

That "edge" seems missing now that Bonnie and Christy have things working out better and everything is more stable with the "roadblocks" and turns feeling more forced -- like the spontaneity has weakened & it's becoming formulaic or contrived more across different aspects of where things go/etc.

It seems like the characters are being placed in various odd or deliberately assigned situations/roles/predicaments now just to strive for comedy rather than having the episodes flow more casually or such. The earlier seasons seemed to do things right, but now it unfortunately seems like the light is continuing to dim on the creative spark or direction of the show......

Like I said before it still isn't bad, but seems to be declining overall.

The whole premise of the show depends on the cast being losers. That gets old and hopeless after a while. And attempts to try and have them better themselves tend to be too much. For example Christy going to law school, a bit of a leap really.

I'm sensing a relapse for Christy. Don't know why either.

Like any show, it has run its course.
