Get rid of Adam!!

Sorry but he is really really annoying! This character totally drags the show down :/ Bonnie can do so much better!

He actually made me miss Alvin :( At least Bonnie truly loved him! Adam on the other hand is nothing but pure lust 😩

reply

Agreed! But unless Alvin comes to Bonnie in a dream, looks like Adam is there to stay.

Unless the whole cookie thing finally wakes Bonnie up to how superficial that relationship is

reply

She seems to like superficial .

Bonnie is not a healthy camper. She has no respect for anyone's boundaries, especially Christy. She lies, cheats, and steals even when the situation doesn't require it. As far as I can tell she has no sponsor which means there is no counter to the "first thought wrong" rule. She is literally the definition of self-will run riot. Personally I think Adam is better off without her. Channeling Marjorie for the moment, "if you keep going into a barbershop, eventually you are going to get a haircut." Bonnie had no business being with Joe *if* she wanted to maintain her relationship with Adam. Yeah, she screwed up, but her pattern is to always screw up. I'm not sure at this point she could actually relapse because I'm not sure she has technically started recovery. She mocks Marjorie and her sayings, but if she actually listened to them, she'd might get a bit of a clue about herself. I'm treating Bonnie as a real person and not as a character because she is clearly modeled after someone in the program, and what happens to her is exactly what happens to people who two-step (one and thirteen). After the scene in the diner, as Marjorie I would have written Bonnie off with a simple "you clearly don't want what I have so I'm not going to waste time for either of us."

Bonnie is a classic case of someone who continues to use the exact same tools that got her into trouble in the first place, and the definition of insanity is to the the same thing and expect a different result. I would not see it out of character for her to end the series drunk and homeless, because in reality she has done very little to change from that person. We saw Jodie relapse and die, so the showrunners aren't afraid to go there, and in reality 95% of sobriety dates are on a tombstone.

Christy will try to get them back together in the next episode.

I do agree Bonnie is really to selfish for anyone although as a character I find her very funny.

reply

I have to agree. I do t enjoy that character, and I feel like I'm always waiting for them to write him out.

reply

I don't like him either.
