Anybody else wish the actual ending should have been 15 min earlier?

*** SPOILERS***

To me the best part was where Jed hugged John saying that he was all a man could wish for in a son! I cried!
The rest was crap! I wanted John with Cara (not because I like her at all... just want John to be happy) and stupid Steven can go on being a manslut.
Why is it that they teleport so far from where they need to be and have to run the rest of the way?
UGGGG...

I wish it had ended one episode earlier.

I didn't like what they were setting up for possible future seasons.

-Natalie seemed to be unreasonably evil and deciding to blindly follow the Founder. She was on the run to likely return and wreak havoc for our heroes and annoy the heck out of the audience.

-Jed seems to have returned to the dark side because the senator hurt his feelings and didn't take his warnings about the Tomorrow People seriously.

-John's memory was wiped so he now will do whatever Jed asks.

I've enjoyed the show all season so I feel bad for saying this, but with an ending like that, I'm almost relieved that the show did not get renewed. Nothing about the ending left me wanting to see what happens next, which is quite the opposite of how I felt after most of the episodes, especially during the second half of the season.

Agreed. Making the suit flip to a mega villain is no way to get the network suits to renew your show...

The episode had good and bad points but it's hard to pick a point that would have been a better place to end.The John/Jedikiah scene was the first thing I'd cut, it was terrible! The monster that experimented on John, spent years hunting and trying to kill him and just a few hours ago attacked and crippled one of his friends makes a few creepy comments about him being his son and John gives him a hug?!What utter rubbish!Last time Jedikiah tried a line like that on him John was rightly disgusted at the idea.Mind you, John was a loser most of the time and why Cara wasted so much time on him ahead of the far more likable Stephen I don't know. The penultimate episode wasn't much better, full of narrative dead ends and character moments that just didn't work.

Frankly, Episode 20 should have been the ending.I wouldn't miss anything from the last two episodes except the Stephen/Cara moments(They STILL don't get together properly but I think Stara fans can be happy:"They're here for you"/ "They're here for both of us", the perfect callback to Stephen's "I'll find us a refuge or you'll build one here" in The Citadel).Just assume that the explosion killed the Founder and that solved everything and you won't have to sit through Russell betraying Roger(so he'd still be alive and the Jamesons would get a happy ending), John spending two episodes whining about having no powers and making a deal with the devil to get them back, the horrible treatment of Irene and the mishandling of the potentially good John/Astrid pairing.Natalie would merely be selfish, bitchy and a bit racist rather than evil, homicidal and a bit crazy, so her escaping punishment wouldn't matter as much and people who want to convince themselves that mass murderer Jedikiah is a nice guy would find it easier while the rest of us still invent fan fiction where he dies painfully.

agreed. should have had roger leave town with his family, taking out the power supply. then roger having assigned cara and john, russell, etc to taking out the machine/founder after they explain they are hardly useless children. stupid, stupid ending and the worst part was that awful actress who played the useless natalie character. all the season building up to one new moron who suddenly kills the whole tomorrow people team? bull.

I enjoyed the finale and if they had ended with everyone happy at Ultra HQ and took out the John/Jedikiah scenes it would have been a a proper series finale IMO. Oh well.

The show made ni sence after Ultra was taken down. Sure, John had no powers but don't tell me NO ONE kept in touch with him. Not Cara, not Stephen, not Russel?

They were pushing the whole Stephen/Cara thing since ep 1, but it never made any sense.

The fact that they hooked up John/Astrid WTF? An annoying chick that he met like twice, and for some reason jumped off a train with in a filler episode, he will give up on Cara and everything they had for that? And not even Astrid seemed bothered by the fact that John was missing.

This ending took the show from 9/10 to 6,5..
