i have seen much worse shows canceled

I am still trying to get into the show "Arrow"...not sure why i am struggling with that so much since it has such a high rating. I like this show better than most CW shows so what is the deal with why it was canceled with a pretty decent rating?

I recently started watching the show on Netflix and I'm not really sure why they canceled it I really enjoyed it and have seen great reviews i'm curious to know if there's any chance of it ever starting back up again?

There weren't enough viewers to entice cw to continue. Nielsen ratings was at an all time low due to that. It's the same with Sarah Conner chronicles. People only started getting into it when it came to Netflix but it was too late. I guess preconceptions made people leery to try this show?

It's too bad because the tail end had such a powerful climax and now we will never have closure. Again just as SCC did. It enraged me to see the network not even trying to tie loose ends! They were like "hmm let's toss it. Who cares if viewers are left with an open ended finale!"

And this is why network TV is on its way out. Platforms like Netfilx, Amazon Prime, Hulu to name a few are taking over. Just a matter of time when film and series creators will find new ways to capture audiences and go around the networks.

Agreed. However, I am disappointed that Netflix did not pick it up and do a few more episodes for the sake of closure. Like they did for "The Killing", Netflix bought the rights to the TK series then produced 6 or 7 extra episodes just to give the characters some closure. Which I truly appreciated!!!!! Argh.

All shows based on DC or Marvel comics automatically get high ratings because of established readers.
