Are they crazy to cancel this? O_o

I just watched the show on Netflix because it got a solid 5 star rating there. With a slow beginning, I wasn't sure how I would like the show, but as it went on the story line branched and got more complex, the characters all grew on me, and the climax of the first season left me wanting for more! Star Crossed developed into a fantastic show that deserves more seasons! I hope the exposure on Netflix will convince the network to pick it up again. I don't know how many more canceled shows with that much potential I can handle. CW seems to be following FOX' cancelation tradition who killed a lot of my favorite shows, Firefly being the greatest disappointment yet. Speaking of Firefly, this show had so much fan support and campaigning that we got at least closure for the story, wrapping up the loose ends in a stunning final feature length movie. I'd prefer more seasons and would definitely watch it on the network, but if all fails I hope for a similar solution as the Firedly fans achieved!

Disappointed they canceled this show, I liked it very much, something new and different.

This was already done. It was called Roswell.

(Note: I am not being a hater. I watched both Roswell and Star-Crossed. I am merely pointing out that the concept of alien boy & human girl is not a new one)

I think TV is terrible lately and it is so hard for any show to grow and become something great. Shows like "Supernatural" did not have a instant following, it took many years and seasons to get better and now they are on what, season 10? I just think networks like the CW need to give shows more of a chance, leaving us with one season and a cliff hanger is annoying.

Yeah, they are way too quick to cancel awesome shows. There's too many shows on TV now to cancel one after the first season. It's hard to know when new shoes start most of us don't even bother watching commercials anymore. This show would have been huge with its fan base growing along with it. I finally saw it on Netflix and I'm in love, I really think they made a huge mistake this time. I really hope another network could pick it up, with its current Netflix following it'd be an instant hit!

Hey guys I also want so say my opinion about this show. I know the show is already done, but I just watched the show and I like it and I think it is one of the BEST shows I have started in a long time! But there are of course other shows that are interested and very good like this one. But I just don't understand why they stop the show. The last episode was sooo good that I cried when I read that they will not make season 2. soo I will miss all the actors? and I hope the producer will see/read that we actually want to see the show (we love you guys and everyone of you are significant) and that we hope you will make a season 2. Please.Please.Please

It has been cancelled for more than one year now. All actors have moved on to the new projects. Zero chance to resurrect the show.

What is completely stupid is starting a new show and then ending it before the story has finished being told. If anyone at the network had any brains at all they would look at the pilot and decide on how many initial seasons they should do to tell the story in it's entirety. Like Supernatural was written as a 5 season show to start with, it's only now in it's 11th season because it gained so much momentum and a new writer took over from Season 6. At least then we would get the whole story and not some half assed ending. So if they initially said lets commit to one season of 13 episodes and finish telling the story then let's do that. If we decide to go into a season 2 then we'll kick off a new story within the show. Instead they just peeve viewers off with half assed story telling.
