The Skipped Episode

Anyone know if there is anyplace online to watch the skipped episode? I really want to watch it before I watch the episode that aired tonight.

P.S. I enjoyed this show and am saddened by the news of it getting cancelled.

The episode wasn't aired? How would it magically appear online?

When networks don't air episodes on TV everyone's first reaction is to run to the Internet to find out why. Just because its not cost effective they sometimes put them online for people that actually like the show can watch them and catch up. Nothin magic about logic!!!!

It might have aired in another country. CBS's Partners was cancelled in the fall of 2012 but several of the unaired episodes aired in Europe and are available online. The same thing happened with Man Up, the end of Unforgettable's current season & a couple of other shows.

I was wondering the same thing.
On last weeks episode it showed the preview for the one I'm watching right now, daughter of Alamo.
But in the beginning of this one, it said "last time on....."
And it showed a bunch I didn't even watch. I checked my box & there's only this one. And even looking at the dates, it doesn't make sense where the missing episode went.

reply

Also, from looking at the episode list on TV.com it doesn't even look like they skipped an episode.

Oh what do I know, I'm just a cynical a-hole.

reply

Yeah, it's really frustrating! It looked like a ton of things happened, and you can't just end on something so huge one episode then skip the episodes that deal with everything after. This is why most people don't bother watching new shows on ABC, they cancel them at the drop of a hat and ruin all continuity by making shows disappear for weeks at a time. Now eliminating two pivotal episodes? Come on ABC!!!

reply

I haven't checked OnDemand yet.

reply

I looked on demand. Not there. At least not on mine.

reply

Yeah it doesn't look like it until the beginning of the show. I just think it's stupid to end it this way. Mind games looks good. But not that damn good. I'm sick of abcs new shows that are really good & they cancel them.

reply

Mind Games does look very good, especially when you have stars like Christian Slater and Steve Zahn...but I'm considering not watching it because ABC will just freaking cancel it anyway after 5 episodes!! I loved Slater's last show Breaking In and that barely lasted as well.

reply

I was also hooked on Slater's previous show "My Own Worst Enemy" until NBC abruptly yanked it.

Build a man a fire, he's warm for a day. Light a man on fire & he's warm for the rest of his life!

reply

All the networks are bad with that but ABC IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST.

Actually, the Episode Magically Disappeared. I remember looking on IMDB a while back and noticed the Episode called "Origins" and also what I think was meant to be the last episode (or maybe not, who knows with these network idiots) called "Queen Bee" which I think is still here as I'm writing this. But, what I don't understand is, OKAY, the show didn't do well, BUT IT WAS ONLY EIGHT EPISODES! Would it have Killed you to show ALL of them in Order! If ABC wanted to move Mindgames up, FINE. Maybe you could have shown the last Two weeks as Double Episodes, I DON'T KNOW? Maybe while every one was watching the Olympics? You were showing all repeats of Agent's of Shield Anyway!...Morons. But, I have been through this before. There IS hope. Just keep a look out on Saturdays and weird gap times in ABC's schedule. The Episodes DO Exist. So they may show them at some point. If your able, do Like I'm going to do, just leave the program on your DVR set to record any and all New episodes. And, we'll get them. If they do air them on the Network at some time...Then YES, Mr. Smarty-Pants way at the top of the Comments. They will indeed magically appear on the internet on Amazon instant video, or some other site.

reply

You don't know that they DO exist, HAH! Perhaps they were filming them when the show got YANKED and they were never completed. Or they were filmed but never edited together and with the show AXED they could remain that way FOREVER. Playboy Club's missing episodes NEVER turned up. Not saying Crapper Women's won't. What I am saying is that saying they WILL is a load of LYING CRAP. Quit spreading false hope, jackass.

HAH!

You do sometimes have to wonder if the heads of programming aren't a bunch of young adults with severe ADD and fresh out of Ritalin.

It's listed as having aired last week, when the previous one did, and there's no description of it on imdb. HOWEVER, I did find it described on another site. We're sorry to learn that, due to low ratings among adults age 20-45 (evidently, WE don't count) Tricia Helfer in Killer Women is being replaced by "the jinx" Christian Slater (his shows only last a few episodes, normally) in Mind Games... and wondering why this episode of Killer Women was skipped? It made watching the last night's a bit awkward... http://hollywoodlife.com/2013/11/11/killer-women-wes-studi-episode-6/
