Final episode 6?

I will let everyone else spend their time trying to decide if this show was cancelled or just discontinued. It doesn't matter to someone who is merely a viewer.

The last episode I saw (so far) is "Daughter of the Alamo". This episode was rated 8.3 on this site. And deservedly so. A very clever twist keeps the viewer guessing until the very end. Also, the plotline about Molly's divorce finally gets into court where it all comes to a head.

Best of all, this story introduces a character who is a retired, old-school ranger who does not exactly cotton to females in uniform. The producers would have been smart to include this character in later episodes. The interplay between the two rangers was interesting, comic, and full of potential for further development.

There was one incident in this episode that caught my attention. The rangers show a photo of a suspect to the woman who identified the body. Later, they ask her to identify the suspect in a line-up. The ID would have been tainted if she had fingered the guy. But that doesn't matter when the plot takes a different turn later.

I will reiterate what I said in my review earlier--the title of this series is a spoiler in itself, letting viewers know that male suspects are red herrings.

Among people rating individual episodes, the ratings were improving with each show.

Too bad. I mostly enjoyed it.
