This show just doesn't have enough likable characters. I will be surprised it if makes it,

I agree. I've always liked James Caan and Maggie Lawson, but the premise and the characters just don't make me want to keep watching.

I watched it and was also kind of disappointed. I have liked James Caan and Maggie Lawson's previous work, and I also like baseball and spent many years playing little league, but I really didn't like the characters. I'll stick around at least one more episode to see if I like it any better.
