Second episode was a step back

I guess someone must have helped them fluff the pilot, which I enjoyed, because the second episode was much less funny.

After watching the pilot, I pleaded that they don't make the children parodies, and now that has happened. But instead of making the children too smart, they made them absolute idiots.

And the fact that a child moves back into their parents' home seems to be theme in failed sitcoms lately, please stop with all the "we can't live together like this" storylines. They are so boring and tedious.

The writing just seemed much less clever compared to the pilot, and more standard fare sitcom-y shtick.

With all due respect, Wood-20, I have to disagree. And to preface, I'm not saying that you are wrong, I am saying that I have a different opinion.

The pilot was great - the second episode was even better.

I do not find the children to be idiots. I find them to be non-athletic baseball players with individual (with the exception of the "ginger" twins) personalities. They are not the premise of the show, however, so they are not a big facet on a decision to watch or to not watch. In fact, I took them to be bright children who want to interact with others, yet they struggle to hit a baseball.

I can agree that the "child moves back in with the parents" storyline seems a bit much as of late, however it is not as overdone as many other storylines.

I liked the writing for both. "Don't say Bikram Yoga!!!" Classic.

Again, I just disagree with you on some points. Please do not take this as a combative approach, just a discussion.

Blessings.
