Initially I thought she was Latino then she opened her mouth and I was still confused. Now I am not sure exactly what she is supposed to be. but the character is terrible...... needs to be sharpened and redefined for mine asap.
Overall though its not too bad.

shareShe is a half black/white actress and is a much better dramatic actress. She was on BBC's "Being Human", a fantasy drama. I loved her in that show but she was pretty bad in this show. It seems like she was trying to be Latina on this show so it must be confusing to people who don't know her from her British show.

I thought she was Latino too. I agree her character is bad, but the character that is really terrible is her son. Not funny at all.
The character seems out of place with all the working class shenanigans. Maybe they need a story on how she wound up there. I think the writers will work it out and make her a good foil to Terry.
